Google's Nest Wifi Pro to Launch on October 6
According to a new report, Google is set to unveil the Nest Wifi Pro at its October 6 event. The device is expected to feature an upgraded Wi-Fi 6E standard, which can deliver speeds up to 9.6Gbps under ideal conditions. While the new device may be the first version of the Nest Wifi, it is likely that the company will also release a version for the older Nest Wi-Fi.
The Nest Wifi Pro will be available in four new colours at launch. These will include Snow (white), Fog (blue), Linen (brown), and Lemongrass (yellow). These colours are meant to match the new Pixel 7 series. The new devices are expected to be officially announced on October 6th at Google's event, which is also expected to unveil the Pixel 7 Pro smartphones.
In addition to the new Wi-Fi 6E standard, the new Nest Wifi Pro will support Bluetooth Low Energy. This new technology allows the device to connect to a wider range of devices than its predecessor. It also supports Thread mesh networking and will reach a maximum speed of 9.6 Gbps.
According to the B&H listing, the new Nest Wifi Pro is expected to launch on October 6th, revealing its pricing and colour options. It is also known to come in black or white.
